Advatechs MediTaxis mobile application will help patients, carers and healthcare staff deal with transport and logistics issues anywhere in the world, but will primarily focus on the UK market in 2016.
Advatechs technology & support platform (TACIT - technology, administration, consultancy, infrastructure & training) for existing medical transport / logistics providers. TACIT maximizes efficiency round the clock, with safe cost-effective solutions.
It is a well known fact that there is no provision of efficient, safe and cost effective out of hours logistics and transport facility for patients, carers and healthcare staff in the NHS and private healthcare markets.
Advatech Health Care has identified below gaps:
1. Lack of safe, cost effective transport facility to take vulnerable patients from their home to local NHS services like GP surgeries, community hospitals, pharmacists, physiotherapists and so on. By providing timely and 24*7 access to such transport, Advatech will help NHS save huge cost of a potential unplanned admission of such patients to acute care, as well as fulfil the Government agenda of providing access to primary care for 7 days a week.
2. Lack of safe and cost effective transport for healthcare professionals to take them from their home to place of work and also to visit other places of work from their base office.
3. Lack of logistics services to take blood and tissue samples from primary care to the laboratories specifically during afternoon hours as well as during out of hours. By providing this service, Advatech will help left shift of care which has been planned by the current Government, as well as access to healthcare closer to home for 7 days a week.
4. Inefficient use of ambulance services by the population. By providing mobile and web application, Advatech will help to provide the required up to date technology using its TACIT platform, thus helping use of resources in the most timely and efficient way.
5. Facilitating access to medical care for people from UK who wish to get such facility anywhere in the world, as well as making such services accessible to people from outside the UK who wish to pursue such services in the UK.
6. Repatriation of diseased person from and out of UK by facilitating access to the most cost effective and efficient provider.
7. Use of network of laboratories for processing blood and tissue samples for people who are not eligible for getting such services from NHS.
